Cheryl Lynn's debut single "Got To Be Real" was released in the UK on CBS in 1979, produced and arranged by David Paich and Marty Paich. A UK 12" pressing, it pairs the infectious disco-funk title track -- later one of the most sampled records in hip-hop -- with "Come In From The Rain" on the flip. Lynn had auditioned for the label via a talent show appearance.
