A Swingin' Affair is a hard bop album by tenor saxophonist Dexter Gordon, recorded in August 1962 and originally released in 1964 on Blue Note (BST 84133). This 2006 CD reissue was remastered by Rudy Van Gelder in 2005. Produced by Alfred Lion, the session features Gordon's originals alongside standards including Billie Holiday's "Don't Explain" and "You Stepped Out Of A Dream."
