Giorgio Moroder's score for Alan Parker's 1978 film won the Academy Award for Best Original Score, marking a breakthrough for electronic music in Hollywood. This is the original UK pressing on Casablanca. Harold Faltermeyer served as conductor and arranger. The title theme and the eight-minute opener "Chase" are the centrepiece cuts, with Oliver Stone co-writing the "Istanbul Blues" vocal track.
