Renegades Of Funk was released by Afrika Bambaataa & Soulsonic Force in 1983 on Tommy Boy, produced and mixed by Arthur Baker and John Robie. This is the 2001 EU repress issued for the 20th anniversary, identifiable by the anniversary labels. The track remains a cornerstone of electro, built on a drum machine groove with chanted call-and-response vocals across the A-side vocal and instrumental versions.
