Afrocult Foundation's Black Goddess CD -- Afrobeat and spiritual jazz from a limited release, hard to find CD.

Black Goddess is the soundtrack to Ola Balogun's 1978 Nigerian film of the same name, performed by Afrocult Foundation with drummer and multi-instrumentalist Remi Kabaka. This 2011 Soundway reissue (SNDWCD025) brings the original six-track score back into circulation, including the title track and "Slave March," set across afrobeat rhythms and traditional instrumentation. Packaged in a gatefold card sleeve.
