Air Time is the debut album by Chicago free jazz trio Air -- Henry Threadgill, Fred Hopkins, and Steve McCall -- originally recorded live at Ravinia Festival in 1971 and first released on Nessa Records in 1971. This 2017 reissue is limited to 550 copies. Threadgill's compositions dominate, including the 13-minute "Subtraction" and the closing 9-minute piece on the B-side.
