Open Air Suit is a 1978 album by Chicago free jazz trio Air -- Henry Threadgill, Fred Hopkins, and Steve McCall -- released on Arista's Novus imprint. Recorded in two days at C.I. Recording Studios, NYC, and produced by Michael Cuscuna, it features four extended Threadgill compositions, the longest running over fifteen minutes. One of the early releases on Novus, which would become a key home for avant-garde jazz through the 1980s.
