Pianist Al Haig and guitarist Jimmy Raney recorded Freedom Jazz Dance at MacDonald Studio, Sea Cliff, New York in March 1975. Released on Candid via the Choice label, this 2010 CD reissue is notable for a spine misprint reading "Freeom Jazz Dance". The session includes Herbie Hancock's "Dolphin Dance", Thelonious Monk's "'Round Midnight", and Eddie Harris's title track.
