King Of The Blues Guitar compiles Albert King's recordings for Stax from the mid-to-late 1960s, originally released on Atlantic in 1969 and expanded here in this 1989 CD reissue with six bonus tracks. Produced by Jim Stewart, it includes "Born Under A Bad Sign" and "Crosscut Saw" -- both later covered by Cream -- alongside "The Hunter", which Free covered on their 1969 debut.
