Albert King's *Live Wire / Blues Power* was recorded live at the Fillmore Auditorium, San Francisco, and first released on Stax in 1968. Produced by Al Jackson Jr., it captures King's guitar work alongside a ten-minute run through "Blues Power" and a cover of Herbie Hancock's "Watermelon Man." This is the 1979 Stax reissue (STX-4128), pressed at Columbia's Santa Maria plant, distributed by Fantasy Records.
