Albert Nicholas was a New Orleans clarinettist who recorded extensively in Europe after settling in Paris in the early 1950s. This 1955 UK Vogue EP pairs him with French bandleader André Réwéliotty across three tracks -- including Ellington's "Mood Indigo" and the traditional "Old Stack O'Lee Blues". A rare piece of transatlantic trad jazz on 7" mono wax.
