Product Review:
US Original 1971 keel pressing. Super copy!

Allen Toussaint's 1971 self-titled LP on Scepter Records showcases the New Orleans architect behind hits for Lee Dorsey, Irma Thomas, and The Meters as a solo performer. This repress carries the kaleidoscope Scepter label from 1971--73. "From A Whisper To A Scream" was later covered by Elvis Costello, while "Working In The Coal Mine" became a signature Lee Dorsey track Toussaint originally wrote.

  • pro-cleaned

  • with a new inner sleeve

  • and a new outer sleeve

Expert, honest grading

Used records and CDs are graded when we catalogue them for sale and again before they are sent out. So they should reach you in the condition you expect.

Every used record and CD pro-cleaned

We clean our used vinyl records using a VPI vacuum cleaner. More expensive records are also cleaned ultrasonically. CDs are cleaned gently by hand.

Re-sleeving

We place each used record in a brand new paper or anti-static audiophile inner sleeve. We then place the record and sleeve (separately) into a brand new outer sleeve. Ready to be enjoyed!
