"Take Him Back (Taxi)" is a 1984 soul 45 on Houston Connection Recording Corporation, a Houston-based independent label. Self-produced by LeSear alongside HCRC staff, the single features co-writing credits from Homer Banks, a Memphis songwriter known for his work with Stax. Both sides run the same track across A and B, stretching the groove across a full eight minutes.
