The Hard And Soft is the debut album by New York R&B duo Arb, released in 1991 on Motown's Sound Of New York imprint. Produced by Gene Griffin -- best known for his work with Guy -- and executive co-produced by Timmy Regisford, it sits firmly in the new jack swing era, recorded at Cheshire Studio in Atlanta. Standout cuts include "New Jac City" and "Make You Sweat."
