Recorded live at the Café Bohemia, New York City on 23 November 1955, this is one of the earliest Jazz Messengers recordings, featuring Hank Mobley, Kenny Dorham, and Horace Silver. This 2001 Blue Note remaster, produced by Michael Cuscuna, adds three tracks -- Lady Bird, What's New, and Deciphering The Message -- not included on the original BLP 1507 release.
