Modern Art is a 1958 hard bop session led by trumpeter Art Farmer, featuring pianist Bill Evans and tenor saxophonist Benny Golson, recorded at Nola's Penthouse, New York. This 2004 Lone Hill Jazz reissue adds nine bonus tracks to the original eight, extending the session with further New York recordings from 1958--59. Arrangements are shared between Farmer, Golson, and Bob Zieff.
