Intensity was recorded in Los Angeles in November 1960 and originally released on Contemporary in 1963. Alto saxophonist Art Pepper leads a quartet through seven standard ballads -- including Come Rain Or Come Shine and Too Close For Comfort -- produced by Lester Koenig. This is a 1970s repress on Contemporary's yellow label, catalogue S7607.
