UK original in top condition. Sleeve has hardly visible tear 2cm rear on flip. Disc x+ one single superficial mark does not affect play.

Smack Up is an Art Pepper Quintet album recorded in October 1960 at Contemporary's LA studio and released in the UK in 1962 on Vogue/Contemporary (LAC 12316). The lineup includes Jack Sheldon on trumpet and Frank Butler on drums. Pepper's alto is front and centre across all six tracks, with the slow burn of "Tears Inside" and the Basie nod standing out.
