The 1957 tracks -- "Watkins Production" and "Redd's Head" -- feature Red leading his own group; the earlier cuts include Pepper on standards like "Everything Happens To Me" and "These Foolish Things." This 1992 Savoy Jazz CD reissue presents the material in mono, remastered, with new liner notes.
