Azymuth's "Jazz Carnival" lifted from their 1979 LP Light As A Feather on Milestone. This UK 7" single -- credited to Jack Adams in the runouts -- pairs the title track with "Fly Over The Horizon". The Brazilian trio's blend of samba rhythm, synth funk, and jazz piano made "Jazz Carnival" a dancefloor staple and a heavily sampled cut in later hip-hop and house productions.
