Azymuth's "Jazz Carnival" is a 1979 Brazilian jazz-funk single released on Milestone Records in the UK. A 12" 45RPM pressing, it entered the UK singles chart in January 1980, peaking at No.19. The A-side is drawn from the trio's album Outubro -- a percussion-driven, synth-laced groove that crossed Brazilian fusion into dancefloor territory. The B-side presents "Fly Over The Horizon" under its English title.
