Barbara Jones was a Jamaican lovers rock vocalist active through the late 1970s and 80s. This 1984 UK 12" single on Dynamic pairs "I Never Will Marry" with "Don't Stay Away", both produced and arranged by Willie Lindo. Jones was a consistent presence on the lovers rock circuit, and Lindo's production -- rooted in Jamaica's Channel One and similar sessions -- gives both sides a warm, measured feel.
