Barrington Levy was one of the defining voices of early 1980s dancehall, and this 1985 UK 12" on Time 1 Records catches him in strong form. Produced by Paul Love, the single leads with "Real Thing" across two vocal mixes and a dub cut, backed by "Give Me Your Love" and its own dub version -- a solid five-tracker at 45 RPM built for sound system play.
