Product Review:
From the Maxi Jazz Collection. Beastie Boys' landmark 1986 Def Jam debut — original first pressing. BPM stickers on sleeve. Includes original inner sleeves. Hip-hop's first mainstream rock crossover.

Licensed To Ill is the debut album by Beastie Boys, released November 1986 on Def Jam via CBS. Produced by Rick Rubin, it fuses hip-hop and hard rock, with Run-DMC's Darryl McDaniels and Joseph Simmons among the writers. This is a UK first pressing on CBS/Def Jam. "Fight For Your Right" and "No Sleep Till Brooklyn" were both top-40 UK hits on release.

What's in the box?

  • Your tunes

  • pro-cleaned

  • with a new inner sleeve

  • and a new outer sleeve

Expert, honest grading

Used records and CDs are graded when we catalogue them for sale and again before they are sent out. So they should reach you in the condition you expect.

Every used record and CD pro-cleaned

We clean our used vinyl records using a VPI vacuum cleaner. More expensive records are also cleaned ultrasonically. CDs are cleaned gently by hand.

Re-sleeving

We place each used record in a brand new paper or anti-static audiophile inner sleeve. We then place the record and sleeve (separately) into a brand new outer sleeve. Ready to be enjoyed!
