Bernard Wright's debut album, recorded in 1981 aged 17 and released on Arista GRP. Wright, a prodigy from Jamaica, Queens, played alongside Miles Davis and Grover Washington Jr before cutting this set of jazz-funk and disco. Produced by GRP founders Dave Grusin and Larry Rosen, it features "Haboglabotribin'", later sampled widely in hip-hop. This is a GRP reissue (catalogue GRP 5011).
