Product Review:
Sealed.

Bessie Smith recorded for Columbia between 1923 and 1933, becoming the highest-paid Black performer in America during that period. This 2004 Castle Pulse compilation draws 22 tracks from those sessions, all in mono as recorded, including "Backwater Blues," "Nobody Knows You When You're Down And Out," and "Gimme A Pigfoot And A Bottle Of Beer" -- the last recorded at her final Columbia session in 1933.

Expert, honest grading

Used records and CDs are graded when we catalogue them for sale and again before they are sent out. So they should reach you in the condition you expect.

Every used record and CD pro-cleaned

We clean our used vinyl records using a VPI vacuum cleaner. More expensive records are also cleaned ultrasonically. CDs are cleaned gently by hand.

Re-sleeving

We place each used record in a brand new paper or anti-static audiophile inner sleeve. We then place the record and sleeve (separately) into a brand new outer sleeve. Ready to be enjoyed!
