Spectrum is Billy Cobham's debut solo album, released on Atlantic in 1973 following his work with Miles Davis and the Mahavishnu Orchestra. This is a 2018 Music On Vinyl reissue. Stratus, the nine-minute opener to Side B, has been widely sampled in hip-hop and trip hop. The album features Tommy Bolin on guitar and Jan Hammer on keyboards.
