Blind Boy Fuller was a North Carolina guitarist whose Piedmont blues recordings of the late 1930s influenced generations of players. This Blues Classics compilation (BC 11) draws from 1935--1940 sessions featuring harmonica player Sonny Terry and washboard drummer Bull City Red. Tracks include "Step It Up And Go," later covered widely, and the driving "Pistol Slapper Blues." The no-address cover variant points to an early pressing.
