Super Yazoo release in top condition. Sleeve clean.
Blind Willie Johnson recorded these fourteen gospel blues sides for Columbia between 1927 and 1930. This Yazoo compilation (catalogue L-1058) draws from those original 78rpm sessions, featuring "Dark Was The Night, Cold Was The Ground" -- later carried aboard the Voyager Golden Record -- and "Nobody's Fault But Mine", covered by Led Zeppelin. A US repress on the Yazoo label from their 245 Waverly Place address, with hand-etched runouts.
