Bo Carter was a Mississippi Delta blues guitarist and one of the most prolific recording artists of the 1930s, known for his double-entendre songwriting. This 1979 Yazoo compilation collects 14 recordings from 1931--36, mastered by label founder Nick Perls from rare original 78s. Tracks include "All Around Man" and the title cut, showcasing Carter's fingerpicking style and wry lyricism across some of his sharpest sides.
