First UK pressing of this 1966 Chess compilation, produced by Ralph Bass, drawing from Bo Diddley's mid-period catalogue. Highlights include "Pills" -- later covered by The Pretty Things and The Rolling Stones -- plus the percussive "Africa Speaks" and hypnotic "Background To A Music." A strong cross-section of his rhythm and blues work on mono wax.
