African Herbsman collects Bob Marley & The Wailers recordings produced by Lee Perry at the Upsetter studio, originally released on Trojan in 1973. This is the 1977 German pressing on Trojan (6.23049), manufactured by Teldec. The set draws heavily from the Lee Perry sessions, featuring "Small Axe", "Duppy Conqueror", "Trench Town Rock", and "Sun Is Shining" -- core tracks from the Perry-Marley creative partnership.
