Product Review:
EX/EX - visual grading only.

Bobby Hutcherson's Oblique was recorded at Van Gelder Studio in July 1967 but sat unreleased until a 1980 Japanese pressing. This 2005 EU remastered CD reissue on Blue Note -- produced by Alfred Lion, with reissue production by Michael Cuscuna -- finally brought it to wider circulation. The session features Hutcherson's vibraphone alongside a post-bop group, with "Theme From Blow Up" a highlight across its eight-minute runtime.

What's in the box?

  • Your tunes

  • pro-cleaned

  • with a new inner sleeve

  • and a new outer sleeve

Expert, honest grading

Used records and CDs are graded when we catalogue them for sale and again before they are sent out. So they should reach you in the condition you expect.

Every used record and CD pro-cleaned

We clean our used vinyl records using a VPI vacuum cleaner. More expensive records are also cleaned ultrasonically. CDs are cleaned gently by hand.

Re-sleeving

We place each used record in a brand new paper or anti-static audiophile inner sleeve. We then place the record and sleeve (separately) into a brand new outer sleeve. Ready to be enjoyed!
