Three tracks from BDP's 1987 debut By All Means Necessary era, collected on this 1997 Jive classics reissue. My Philosophy and I'm Still #1 feature KRS-One's foundational battle rap style, while Jimmy was an early safe-sex anthem. All written and produced by KRS-One, with DJ Scott La Rock overseeing the sessions. I'm Still #1 appears in three versions including the Numero Uno Re-Recording.
