Green Onions was the 1962 debut single by Booker T. & the MG's on Stax, written by all four members -- Jones, Cropper, Steinberg, and Al Jackson Jr. This is a US Atlantic "Oldies Series" reissue 7", pairing it with Chinese Checkers from Stax 137. The A-side is sourced from the original Stax 127 pressing, the B-side from Stax 137.
