Green Onions is the debut album by Booker T. & the MGs, originally released on Stax in 1962. Built around the immortal organ-and-guitar groove of the title track, the album also features the band's readings of Ray Charles' "I Got A Woman" and "Lonely Avenue". This 2002 Sundazed reissue restores the original mono mix, replicating the Stax LP 701 configuration.
