The Genius of Bud Powell compiles recordings made for Clef Records in 1950--51, later reissued on Verve under catalogue number MGV-8115. Captured as a solo piano set, it features Powell's originals alongside standards including "Tea For Two" and "A Nightingale Sang In Berkeley Square." This US repress on Verve remains one of the more accessible editions of Powell's earliest recorded work.
