Bukka White recorded Big Daddy for Biograph Records in 1974, one of his final studio albums before his death that same year. A raw solo set of country blues, slide guitar, and gospel-inflected material, it features "Aberdeen Mississippi Blues" -- one of his signature songs -- alongside lesser-known titles drawn from his deep Delta repertoire. Produced by Stephen C. LaVere.
