Institution is a 1977 roots reggae 12" single by Burning Spear, released on his own Spear label (BS 4) out of Jamaica. Produced and arranged by Winston Rodney alongside Sylvan Morris and The Black Disciples, with a dub flip on the B-side. Predates the better-known Studio One and Island recordings and represents Rodney's move toward full creative and label control.
