Product Review:
US PRC pressing. Sticker on sleeve; plain inner sleeve. Cameo's Cameosis is the 1980 Casablanca debut that set up everything that followed -- Funk Funk is on here, long before Word Up changed their commercial trajectory.

Cameosis is the third studio album by Cameo, released in 1980 on Chocolate City Records, distributed by Casablanca. Arranged and led by Larry Blackmon, the record sits deep in late-70s funk, with "Shake Your Pants" later sampled by artists including Notorious B.I.G. This original US pressing on Chocolate City (CCLP 2011) was recorded at H&L Studios, New Jersey.

  • pro-cleaned

  • with a new inner sleeve

  • and a new outer sleeve

Expert, honest grading

Used records and CDs are graded when we catalogue them for sale and again before they are sent out. So they should reach you in the condition you expect.

Every used record and CD pro-cleaned

We clean our used vinyl records using a VPI vacuum cleaner. More expensive records are also cleaned ultrasonically. CDs are cleaned gently by hand.

Re-sleeving

We place each used record in a brand new paper or anti-static audiophile inner sleeve. We then place the record and sleeve (separately) into a brand new outer sleeve. Ready to be enjoyed!
