The Remarkable Carmell Jones was originally recorded for Pacific Jazz in 1961, produced by Richard Bock, featuring Harold Land on tenor saxophone alongside trumpeter Carmell Jones. This is the 1984 UK Affinity reissue, licensed from EMI. Highlights include an 11-minute reading of "I'm Gonna Go Fishing" and a deep late-night take on "Come Rain Or Come Shine."
