Catalyst's *Perception* was originally released in 1975 on Muse Records, a New York label that documented the loft jazz era. This 2025 Craft Recordings reissue is cut AAA from the original tapes by Kevin Gray and pressed on 180g vinyl at RTI. The side-long title track runs over 15 minutes of modal soul-jazz. "Got To Be There" closes the set on a lighter note.
