Alma Con Alma pairs Celia Cruz and Tito Puente across ten tracks spanning guaguancó, bolero, cha-cha, and Afro-Cuban religious material, with Puente producing and arranging throughout. Originally released on Tico Records, this is a 2019 remastered reissue cut all-analog from the original tapes by Kevin Gray at Cohearent Audio. Highlights include the percussion showcase "Guiro 6/8" and the Yoruba-rooted "Elegua" and "Chango."
