Chaka Khan's "I'm Every Woman", written by Ashford & Simpson, first appeared on her 1978 debut album Chaka. This 1989 UK 12" pairs a house remix -- produced by Arif Mardin and drawn from the Remix Project LP -- with the original 1978 LP version on the flip. The remix pushes the track into late-80s dancefloor territory while keeping Khan's vocal front and centre.
