Champaign's "How 'Bout Us" reached the UK Top 5 in 1981, lifted from the Illinois group's debut album *Modern Times*. This is the original UK CBS pressing (A1046), produced by Leo Graham for B-Line Productions, with arrangements by James Mack. The B-side "Spinnin'" is a strong flip. A smooth, warm soul single with crossover pop instincts that held up across radio and dancefloor.
