Charles Lloyd's *Hyperion With Higgins*, recorded December 1999 at Cello Studios, LA, and released on ECM in 2001. A quartet session featuring Billy Higgins on drums and Brad Mehldau on piano, the album closes with the extended "Darkness On The Delta Suite." Lloyd's dedication to Gilberto and Caetano on the opening track signals the Brazilian influence running through the set.
