Mingus Dynasty is a 1960 hard bop album by Charles Mingus, recorded in 1959 for Columbia with Teo Macero producing. This 2009 remastered reissue on Columbia/Legacy adds "Strollin'" -- the instrumental version of "Nostalgia In Times Square" from Mingus' soundtrack to John Cassavetes' Shadows -- as a bonus track. The set also features Ellington covers "Things Ain't What They Used To Be" and "Mood Indigo".
