Product Review:
Super copy!

Pre-Bird collects Charles Mingus recordings from May 1960, originally released on Mercury MG 20627 in 1961, produced by Leonard Feather. This Dutch reissue pressing carries a (p)1961 label date. The set draws on Ellington-era material -- "Take The A Train" and "Do Nothin' Till You Hear From Me" -- alongside originals including the eight-minute "Half-Mast Inhibition," showcasing Mingus's orchestral ambitions ahead of his avant-garde peak.

Expert, honest grading

Used records and CDs are graded when we catalogue them for sale and again before they are sent out. So they should reach you in the condition you expect.

Every used record and CD pro-cleaned

We clean our used vinyl records using a VPI vacuum cleaner. More expensive records are also cleaned ultrasonically. CDs are cleaned gently by hand.

Re-sleeving

We place each used record in a brand new paper or anti-static audiophile inner sleeve. We then place the record and sleeve (separately) into a brand new outer sleeve. Ready to be enjoyed!
