Chet Baker's mid-60s Prestige sessions, recorded at Englewood Cliffs NJ across three days in August 1965, originally split across two LPs -- Prestige 7496 and 7512. This 1996 German CD reissue (PRCD 24174-2) compiles both in full with remastering. Baker's trumpet sits alongside hard bop rhythm sections, a shift from his earlier cool work. Produced by Richard Carpenter.
