The Legacy captures Chet Baker in a late-career Hamburg concert recorded November 1987, released posthumously on Enja in 1995. The set draws from the American songbook and jazz standards, including John Lewis's "Django," Miles Davis's "All Blues," and Dave Brubeck's "In Your Own Sweet Way," alongside Herbie Hancock's "Dolphin Dance" -- a strong programme showing Baker's range as an interpreter just months before his death.
